With nearly 30 years of experience as a Student Affairs professional, Glenn brings a broad and unique perspective. As Executive Director for Seegers Union, Campus Events and Student Engagement at Muhlenberg College, he managed his operation with a deep focus on enhancing community and using space to create chance encounters and opportunities to "see, and be seen". Some of Glenn's notable accomplishments include the following:

  • As contract administrator, driven by the philosophy that successful dining programs are client-driven, effectively led the dining program at Muhlenberg in partnership with the dining management team and the voice of students, resulting in consistently high customer satisfaction and recurring regional and national program accolades. 

  • Provided leadership in the collaborative process that led to the highly successful Seegers Union expansion project in 2010. 

  • Charged with providing oversight for Student Organizations, Leadership and Engagement (SOLE); supporting a dedicated team that led Fraternity & Sorority life, Student Government Association, Student Activities Council and more than 120 active student organizations. 

  • Created and oversaw the formalization of the Conference and Event Services program, generating additional revenue to support college programming.

Personal

Getting to know Glenn is an adventure in itself! His background is in technical theatre & design. Prior to higher-ed, he managed the advance and production logistics for a historic RKO movie house that hosted artists from Aretha Franklin, Michael Feinstein, Burt Bacharack to Carrot Top, Norm MacDonald and Dave Chappelle, to name a few. He has hung out with Willie Nelson on the Honeysuckle Rose, had dinner with Hal Holbrook, spent some time with BB King and wrote the tech rider for Carol Burnett.
